its been so long since i read it and now skipping to the latest chapter but that’s it? i thought there was more in the novel? or was it another novel? now im getting confused bcs there are so much novel with this trope
i love how the author made kael and helios’ character. they shows that heli is truly the og!ML while kael’s the 2nd ML of the novel hes’ read. even though the author shows how annoying heli is, they didn’t make us forget that he is the og!ML, he is charming, funny, and a prince (a very typical one that most reader will love). while making kael as your typical charming but at some point blended into the backgroud 2nd male lead. It makes me feel like “oh yes, i understand why the og!FL chose the og!ML instead of the 2nd ML”. I’m so sick of novels that tells abt the 2nd male lead story that makes me wonders why the og!author made the og!ML the ML instead of the current ML (mostly they made the og!ML ugly or dumb).

the og!ML is rlly outgoing and charming, and I think he has a lot of depth in his character for being an og!ML. the actual ML is rlly soft spoken and other than his looks, is quiet and reliable and doesn't stand out as much personality wise (as 2ndMLs usually are).
they both follow the tropes of being a ML and 2nd ML which is rlly refreshing. :)
