I see everyone complaining that she doesn't want to let duke into her life. But I'm supporting her. If I saw someone who beat another person so hard that this person is on the verge of dying, I'd react exactly the same or maybe even worse. That's how the self-preservation instinct works.
Notice that it's still mostly duke's fault. First of all, he showed her this blood-covered person and secondly he did nothing to calm her down. If he said for example "I won't hurt you." to calm her down, it would definitely improve their relationship. But he doesn't do it, and instead he tries to convey it through actions that are not very clear to her. Anyway, he will achieve what he wants, but it will take a lot more time due to this misunderstanding.

It is a matter of psychology. When a person is afraid of something then start to avoid that threat at all costs. She did exactly that and nothing else. That's pretty normal. More abnormal are those webtoons in which guy kills someone in front of the mc and then when he's all in blood they start kissing. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Anyway, imagine yourself the situation where you are forced to live with a stranger and you know this person is killing people. I'm sure you'd be scared and wouldn't want to approach this person in any way, even a conversation would be a potential threat here. That's exactly how female lead feels all the time.

I agreeeee. Moreover I like the plot in this manhwa more than usual manhwa that make u go "ah shit here we go again". This manhwa is different and interesting. And fl is kindergarten teacher for god sake! You can't just change ppl personality or how they think just because they got transfer into another world. Are ppl expect fl to suddenly become world greatest strategist or suddenly a Knight or something?

Ya I agree with you guys with that, since i'm also a daycare educator. We practice a mentality where we don't judge families based on face value. However, to be honest, he did have a bloodied man in front of her. So he lost her there. Also we practice valuing children's choices. Which I appreciate that she provides that for him, but I feel like she's denying a part of him that is basically ingrained in him already. to the point that he hides things from her. Some parents who puts labels and gives an "expectation" on children prevents them from expressing themselves. (Sometimes this causes most children to "rebel", which in my opinion is just children exploding) I think her persue to make him a "normal" child clouded her "image of a child" and now we're in a predicament of a child hiding his identity and a mother who thinks she failed her child cause he turned evil (when she finds out).

The drawing style is pretty, but the story itself is poor. I didn't like this relationship, especially at the beginning, Puppy-kun agreed to such things with a person unknown to him at that time. Doesn't he have self-preservation instinct at all? No, no big no.

If the whole webtoon was as sweet as end of it, I'd certainly enjoy it more.
When you are author and you create yandere character you know no one will be liking. Hmm, Peacock will be enough random and stupid name ? ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
