Whenever I read chapters like this I get so frustrated... My kokoro hurts. Raku and Chitoge need each other so much at this point of the story and they don't even know lol.
I hope he figures this out and goes with the others to search for her in summer break. And then, the last arc about the conflict between the yakuza groups... Ah, the drama melts my heart, what can I do ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Yeah, you're right! In the chapter 214 we see that indeed, Onodera didn't know that Chitoge loved Raku too. She just wanted to cheer Raku up and talk about Chitoge, she's not "devil". I don't know why people hate her so much (I'm a Chitoge shipper, but that doesn't have anything to do with hate, or at least it shouldn't T^T)
Yeah, I'm all for Chitoge and even though I don't care for Onodera, I'm not going to make her out to be something she isn't.

It's pretty clear to me how it's gonna end (at least the pairings) (but I could be perfectly wrong) (this is what I'm seeing right now pls don't hate me it's just my opinion T^T)
Toono x Kashima (and the third on this stage, Yacchan): it's gonna start with the "unrequited love" type of situation (with Yacchan trying to get his revenge using Toono in the middle). Kashima is going to be heartbroken but at the same time, he's gonna be there for Toono and show his love no matter what. Yes, in spite of Toono being in a relationship with Yacchan at first.
In the middle of this, Toono will start to wonder and suspect of Yacchan, seeing bits of his true personality by sudden reactions or behaviour (just what we saw in that chapter when Toono found that photo of Yacchan and the last one got really crazy about it). Time later, he will ask Yacchan and everything will be discovered (let it be 'cause Yacchan gets stressed out and decides to end it all (because he figures out that he wants someone who loves him authentically) (but I'll talk about that matter later). Or could be because Toono finally "catches" him and everything goes to shit. Be it one or another way, Toono is going to suffer and in that stage, he'll realize who really loved him during all this way. And yes, that is Kashima.
OF COURSE THE THREE OR THEM WILL SUFFER FOR THIS, DON'T MISUNDERSTAND (hope Yacchan can apologize and tell the truth to Kashima for all this years of silence and self hurting at the end) TT____TT
So, this pairing would be: Unrequited love who turns into mutual love.
Yacchan x Tamura: AHHHHH THE HARD ONE. OKAY LET'S GO. I think I've said many things about Yacchan in the last paragraph, so I'm just going to remark some things (yeah I'm in the mood to rant sorry this is so long). How I've said, he'll figure out that he wants someone who loves him authentically, that he doesn't need to be so freaking perfect for someone to notice him and to love him properly/genuinely. He's not that bad. He's just fucking hurt by the things he has said to himself all over the years (look at Kan-chan from Hadakeru Kaibutsu, poor thing T^T). Now is when Tamura comes to stage.
The tsundere and the two-faces guy. It's perfect! I mean, it isn't right now. But it will, eventually. They will learn to be themselves: Tamura will be able to convey his feelings properly and to not be so tense and scared, to trust more on the people he has by his side; in this case, his partner. And Yacchan, what I've said: he doesn't need to be so kawaii desu ne to be appreciated by people. He is who he is, and he has to know that he is worth loving, and he has to have more self confidence, because at the end, he's so frustrated for that reason: self confidence. He thinks that being himself isn't enough for anyone.
After all this, he won't be so wicked. He'll still be kind of sharp, sure, but now more confident because someone loves him just like that. Isn't it beautiful? T^T Come on! Give this little guy one chance. At least that. The story is still short and a lot of things can happen. And Tamura, for what I'm seeing, he's loving for the first time (Yuri doesn't count because he's like his brother/best friend or something like that, although he denies it) (that's why I said that he has to be more honest with himself xD) (ahh tsunderes~).
For me, it's the perfect combo for this two. Because they'll help and make each other realize that what they want, what they are searching for, it's possible. Tamura loves a passionate and kind of "rude" relationship (what we can see in chapter 8 with the "toilet" thing), and Yacchan has born being a sassy shit (no to the level of Akemi, of course).
(THIS IS A SECONDARY THING, BUT HAVE YOU THOUGH HOW THE "SWEET TIMES" BETWEEN THESE TWO COULD BE? *NOSEBLEED*)
All in all, this pairing would be the "tsundere but passionate type".
Yuri x Stalker-kun: AWWWW THE FEELS AND SWEETNESS! *--* This couple has already had a little progress, with the kiss and the Stalker-kun's confession, saying that Yuri's kind behaviour saved him (because yes, under that masquerade of perversion, he's truly a very good guy, just what Tamura said chapters ago). Here we have, ladies and gentlemen, the virgin x super lewd guy.
The first one is very shy and helpless, he has been kind of "bullied" for his inability to express himself properly and has no self confidence. He doesn't know how relationships work. But! Here's the thing: Yuri neither. Sure, he has A LOT MORE experience in the sex field, but he has never been in a serious relationship. And I truly think that he wants to be with someone like that. That's why he gave his phone number to stalker-kun, that's why he said "I want to kiss..." in a certain chapter. He has kissed Tamura, but he's more of a best friend/brother, or something like that. Neither of them love the other one romantically. At least in my point of view.
What he really meant by "want to kiss" is that he wants to be with someone he REALLY loves and cares about, not just sex for sex. Sure, he'll still be lewd, but with his lover. That's why, after all the "I love you's" from Stalker-kun, he gets so surprised and he EVEN TAKES HIS GLASSES OFF! STALKER-KUN HAS SEEN HIM! For me, this is proof that Yuri got very fond of stalker-kun's innocent love. :3 (Because yes, stalker or not, he's still innocent).
And it would be great, because our Stalker-kun doesn't know ANYTHING in the sex field... Do you know how that would fire Yuri up? He has to show him a lot of things and he'd love that. I'm sure. He can experiment. That's why he said: I will turn you into the vibrator no. 18. xDDDD
So: virgin x super lewd guy.
Akemi x Itome: ouch this pretty much hurts. Because one of them is starting to want something the other doesn't approve. You know what I mean, right? Poor Itome... He has fallen deeply in love with nothing less than the president of the Yarichin Bitch Club. He's going to have a hard time, Akemi won't give his arm to twist easily. Sure, they are a couple. But this, of course, doesn't mean they don't have serious problems too. Really guys, the sex they had seemed sad to me. Very sad. Because Akemi got kind of angry with Itome for not having sex with anyone but him... but shit, he just want to have sex with YOU, his BELOVED. ¡Baka Akemi! T^T
It's pretty obvious Akemi knows this, but he's stubborn, and does not accept a no for an answer- It will come to a situation where they will indeed fight, and Itome will say to Akemi that he doesn't want him to have sex with anyone but him. I know he's shy, so I don't really know how this is going to happen, but it will. And then, they'll begin to have problems (well, to be exact, they are starting to have them now). Akemi will put things on a balance and will choose Itome over everything else (at least I HOPE SO XDDD). After this, they will be monogamous and the Yarichin Club probaply will disappear. But there is still time for that. We're just in chapter 8.
This pairing would be... Quiet x manipulative guy, I suppose.
Shikatani x -----: GOD THIS CHARACTER INTRIGUES ME. XDDDDD We don't know much about him more than he got a letter from a teacher to have sex, and recently, we have seen him doing that (chapter 8). Soooo we don't have enough information, so it's early to rant about him... Just that it seems to me that who he's more called by is teachers. Why? Because he only likes the uke role? That isn’t supossed to have anything to do with the situation, right? The preference of being uke, seme or suke doesn’t mark the personality at all (at least it shouldn't) We saw in the last chapter that he's just not "passive", he's indeed brave and have a strong personality (with that sudden "disguting" reaction to the teacher that keeps me surprised omg). I don't know what to expect from this character, what do you think? (I like him pretty much, don’t misunderstand me :3)
This is Ogeretsu Tanaka, guys. Everything is going to turn dark or dramatic/profound eventually (or I hope so T__T). It doesn't seems like that right now, but it surely will.

I think it's obvious that all the listed pairing will happen but they are so damn cliche. Sensei has been very original with her works so I have high hopes that she might surprise us here as well. I wouldn't mind not having ANY of these pairings happening (but c'mon, we know they will happen...) because sensei so far has always managed to persuaded us to the IMPOSSIBLE and that's what I love about her works.

I said before that the possible relationship between Yaguchi and Tamu is for me, the more appealing to read and it's because of the personalities of both of them. I believe that Tamu can be the factor to ignite the fire of the true Yaguchi, and God, it's so promising.
The difference between the views of the relationships you gave us and mine, I don't think that things between Toono and Yaguchi will go that far. For me, it could be more dramatic and an excuse to finally shape that true personality of Yaguchi is Toono's rejection and later how Toono had accepted so easily Yuu in his life with Yaguchi as the first witness (how about a kiss between Toono and Yuu and Yaguchi seeing in the first row :D ). Later, Tamu is going to enter in a very dangerous place, a hurt Yaguchi (because he was rejected and how much damage can do that to his self-esteem) plus that side of him that he put so much effort to deny it, to hide it. He's really fucked up and could be easily my favorite character.
I'm so agree with your view of Toono/Yuu, Stalker Kun/Yuri (so sweet), Akemi/Itome (interesting, I'm so agree with you, Itome is getting posessive because he's in love and ugh Akemi can be that stubborn) and for me Shikatani could get involve in a very fucked up but delicious relationship with that teacher (mmmmmm).
But yeah, I shake my hands with you and I'll share with you my popcorns because this have so much potential, beyond the inicial plot (a bunch of horny boys getting laid with everyone). That's the not so predictable part of Tanaka's works, the twists her stories could have. With all due respect to the previous reply, I don't think it'll that cliche if the story goes as our predictions, and the end, it could get romantic but with our problematic characters it'll be messy and also a rollercoaster for us as readers.
Well you obviously fancy this types of pairings so you will enjoy it and so do many fujoshi, especially newbies but this is repeated over and over again hence why cliche (I guess I have read all yaoi series existing here hence why I crave sth more original). I love sensei's work, her previous works are so unique, such a breath of fresh air into the Yaoi-land but I don't have high hopes for this series, it will go to please the fans with all the typical pairings.
Huh, now I'm curious, would you mind to share what would be something interesting for you in this particular series? Of course regarding with the theme we're talking about (the pairings). Yes, I'm kind of new in this yaoi world but I've been involved in other fandom as well, and believe me, some of the things I've seen it here, I feel like the writers in my previous fandom got inspired by certain things used here too. Probably there are universal themes that inspire either a writer/mangaka (women in general) to do her work (high school theme, tormented relationships theme, rape me and I'll fall in love with you theme...) so, I'm kind of use to it to this and well, now it has draws and that's the appeal now for me.
My personal wishes are one thing, but I wouldn't mind to see Tamu and Toono, Yuu and Yuri...Yaguchi and whatever random guy/girl (or both) appear in front of his eyes. But I would really like what I wish, and it'll for me, quite interesting to read it (even if it's a little bit obvious) :D
I totally agree with you. I know that the pairings are cliche and that this isn't the best piece of sensei's works at all. I started reading yaoi manga 4 years ago, and of course, I also want different things, just like you said. With this rant, I was just making a "mental outline" for what I think it's going to happen (but that doesn't mean that I love it). It's pretty obvious, and what I indeed would love is something that surprises me, just like sensei has done in other works (Escape Journey, Hadakeru Kaibutsu, Renai Rubi... among others). Yarichin Bitch Club is not so bad, but the story is a bit simple, that's why I said at the end that I hope to see something more profound or dramatic. Different
That might not be at the end, but the only thing we can do is to wait and see what happens in the future.

How I've said, I'm not a "newbie" in this field. I know there are better stories (stories that I loved more like Doukyuusei by Nakamura). But I'm a romance addict, and I LOVE sensei's art, so what can I do. :P
I must say I'm totally into completely unexpected couples as long as the mangaka can later on put a decent romantic development between them. Let's say here, IF sensei were to mix the pairings (apart from the presidentxhis partner and the main couple) then I would be so in love with that and because sensei showed us that she is capable of creating a very unique story and I strongly believe that if she pulled that, she could do that and we would totally buy it. The fact that she went into cliche themes was a bit of slap in my face. Her original works is what makes her the best new BL artists in the field and I don't want to see her downfall...
My fav at the moment are ones that are very not expected: let's a love BL triangle, you got 2 awesome seems fighting for a meek uke, and fans are either team A or B. I found very few works where actually both semes ended up together and it was a nice touch of sth different from a boring love triangle where usually a good guy ends up alone :/ Or maybe you have two guys in love with each but for some reasons cannot be with each other, of course a reader will root from them. What about each of those two gets into different relationships and find TRUE love with those new people and we read about them side by side? See, people don't like this kind of crap, they want a simple, straight forward love story but I find it boring :(
But hey, I don't mean to rant on those who likes more cliche stories, everybody has different tastes and should read what makes them happy ;)

This is what, surely will happen and it fucking hurts: Jian Yi doesn't say anything about loving Zhang Xixi, so Zhang is going to assume that his friend is gay. Okay. Zhang will comfort and accept Jian Yi for what he is and they are going to be all goofy again.
That's why, years later, we see Jian Yi trying to kiss Zhang again and again. This "kiss" thing has become normal in their relationship, but Zhang still does not know that Jian Yi loves him.
