Is Gordon Ash’s biological father? Cause that whole story line was kinda shitty to me. Like his father ended up distancing himself because of the relationship between Gordon and Ash’s mom. And Ash really wanted to be with his father like before. And the mom was really coy about what their relationship really was.

Gordon isn’t Ash biological dad. His biological dad’s name Shaun if I remember correctly and he got jealous over Sophia (Ash’s mom) and Gordon’s relationship and blamed her cheating on him with Gordon. He saw Ash’s blue eye as the evident of his wife’s affair with Gordon. The fact that Sophia didn’t cheat on him and Ash is her and Shaun biological son. About Gordon, he used to have a crush on Sophia and gave her the painting to express his feelings but at thay time Sophia’s already in love with Shaun. Gordon’s now has his own partner and they have a son (in S1 if you remember the scene where Ash bought a painting in the gallery, the painting he bought was Gordon’s son’s painting). Hmmm english is not my mother tongue so if you find anything’s unclear pls tell me ^^
