I love how the author is able to draw people at different stages of their life really well. The plot is so good and is paired with beautiful art. The last two updates made me so nervous. It’s definitely making me nervous that the towns people might attack any day, and the Black Sea mark that’s now shown up on Alto
Who has read the novel, please tell me spoilers. Was Ain groomed by MC’s dad and this is his revenge or something? Please tell me Ain is is actually the Duke cause I don’t want the drama of the MC having to actually marry someone else
But then why bring in someone who’s half of Hyesungs trauma?? Especially if you were gonna downplay his reaction when it played such a big role in his decisions and feelings in the og story? I really hope Hye respects Byul’s decision to have a relationship with his biological grandmother, but still keeps her outta his (Hye’s) life. Although I have a feeling the author is going to write some sob backstory and have Hye forgive his mom
Kills me. I NEED to know why he does what he does and why the other guy said “he didn’t tell you did he” or something like that. Like what don’t we know!?? Is he dying??
Since I feel like the way the author has written his birth mom in Superstar, that she’s gonna get a redemption. I hate it. Not everyone needs to be redeemed. She suffered, but she left her son when he was old enough to remember and miss her! And she left him with her abuser, what did she think was gonna happen? She may have been desperate, but it was extremely selfish. I know Byul sympathizes with her because he doesn’t know the full story behind his birth and how hard Hyesung life was because of her actions. I hope they can talk about everything in detail and Dojin does a lot of groveling. I doubt it, but I’m really hoping Hyesung doesn’t forgive her. He already gave her a second chance, she doesn’t deserve a third.
It started off okay, loved the art, I liked learning about the backstory. I still thought it was weird that he acted like that in the beginning, if he was in love with him when they were younger. I felt like the start of the story and the flashbacks didn’t quite line up into the same plot. It seemed like the author wrote it after they had already started or something. But now it’s just eh. The drama with the step mom is still interesting, but their relationship has turned kinda weird. I also wish they would kinda revisit the drama that happened between his mom and his dad.
To see what Helios has been up to, and what kind of relationship he has with the Cael and Hestia now. Plus I wanted to see how he was in his new relationship and how she’s doing as Queen

He should see his father one last time just to say everything he needs to say. Just to finally get it off his chest, I think it’ll help him start to move on. I really appreciate that Taegu was already informed about the situation and was there to help him with whatever.
It sounds dumb and idk if I can word it correctly—I know Seoin is trying to help but I feel like he lets his own feelings get in the way of seeing what YW really needs. Like in this instance, he acted on his jealousy of seeing YW there with Taegu first instead of why YW was at the hospital in the first place and I just feel like it’s unfair to YW. Idk. I’m so happy the hiatus is over tho
Hye is gonna feel so betrayed when he finds out his husband AND son have been going behind his back. I feel like Byul will also feel the weight of it too since he’s a mommas boy (mommas boy in a good way in this case)

They’re so fucked when he comes home and finds out YJ escaped…also the season preview made me think the silver haired guy was gonna be more badass, but he’s just another spoiled rich guy. Is he really any better than the current ruler? (Well he’s probably the lesser of two evils) *I still feel like YJ is gonna realize the Seme was really just following orders and will go after the guy at the top and that’s how he will be able to get revenge for his family instead of having to kill the Seme
I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again. He was a predator and a piece of shit. The dad prayed on him from when he was still a teenager, a kid! And sadly he clearly wasn’t the only one. I wish the father was still alive so they could take revenge on him for being a pedo

Also (IMO) I feel like the whole “life’s so boring because I don’t have emotions” is cliche. I can understand him not being able to connect with people due to having to protect himself from a young age, but I feel like there is a better way to show that then just the “this is boring” plot line

The gangster guy (forget his name) was raped by their dad. He’s projecting, and it’s why he’s laughing that MC is on the receiving end and why he always talks bad about their dad + he thinks MC looks most like their dad. Doesn’t change what he did and he does get arrested, but god do I hate their father. He took some kid off the street, made him feel important, took advantage of him, then after he died he lets him find out through his will that he’s not even included as family. Even though he led everyone to believe he had “adopted” him. That’s why he’s so desperate to get into the safe. It wasn’t even about money, it was about getting his hands on the evidence and awful pictures the dad took of him.
