In summary
in the upcoming events, zf finally decide to propose cqc, but mystical heaven sect try to make her as a bride for the young master(or not really, r-word sounds more appropriate), since the young master of that sect I think have some disease that worsen his cultivation. So zf bring demon scheming sect trusted people to go war with them and save her. This put a bad spot for zf because he decide to leave the sect and then later coming back bring labor cultivator to go war. So xie wuyue got mad at him because he thinks zf try to take his position. So there's a lot of betrayal happened in the sect with some of the elder in cahoot with other sect that zf has humiliated like the universal righteousness sect and heaven circulation sect just to kill him. I love a little this arc however there's a lot of plot hole that I hope they will explain where it didn't in light novel
