Why is everyone forgetting that we JUST had an arc explaining that Haemin is his older brother who committed suicide. Why would his gf/friend who was clearly his age and is therefore in college/working now, date his younger, high school aged brother?? Like there's drama sure but I don't think this is the type of work to show a forbidden love that's borderline criminal.
Also Seonhee has already said she's mature enough to not date her crush and eventually just get over it which she has been trying to do this whole time, knowing that Jaemin doesn't feel the same way. She's not after the dude, she just doesn't like her friends' or her pride/dignity getting stepped on.
For people asking what just happened, recall back to her teacher's assignment: anyone who finds out the Prince's goal for being there gets the study guide to the big exam which is a near guarantee to pass.
Our MC watched her siblings fail and get kicked out so she devised a plan to give her a *reason* for being in the room. If he could not kick her out for even just a certain amount of time, that would give her more time than her siblings to find out his purpose. The prince, however, shows that he knew the scheme this whole time and repeatedly (but cryptically) warns her at each step. The MC, not realizing the he knows that she ordered her servant to plant an object in his office, thinks that he keeps saying she's too confident or too forward in the way she's acting. In reality, he is saying that but also saying she was too confident about this whole situation, thinking that she wouldn't get caught or that her family didn't have an actual involvement in the big scam beyond falling prey to scammers.

Compared to the other guys in this manga, the knight commander is nice but just on his own... Yikes. He's really selfish and trying to mold someone into his ideal woman instead of asking what she wants or trying to meet her halfway or really anything that's not in his own direct interests. If he's really interested in her, i hope there's some growth and am really happy that the MC isn't interested in him right now.
