I'm not surprised or disappointed that this happened. I think we can all admit that we saw it coming. Red was too rash, and uncle simply didn't care too much about the relationship. Though it would be great if everything had a happy ending, sadly it can't always be like that. Of course the author can prove me wrong, it is their story after all. I didn't like how their relationship felt, and I would've been great if they could've improved from eachother. Unfortunately, age does matter, in my opinion. I'm not glad that this happened, but I can tolerate both characters' outcome.
