Manhuas are really getting better abd better with pacing these days but it still makes you want to slap the author back and forth and yell:

The reason why we reject Miss Song as fl was not because she's not a great character or her 'Peerless beauty' title that screams 'I'm a high end trophy!' which every great protag deserves a great partner tbh, its mostly because we don't want someone entangled with ogMc's past now getting all jittery with the current and revised MC. It feels like ur ex trying to get back with you after being down in the slump and unemployed, and now hearing u got promoted and bought a house. PLEASE NO!!

Mc's childhood was a great arc for character development but instead MC degraded. Bro believe in strength too much that his brain regress, thought he was a schemer when actually everyone was just dumb down. Author gave MC op settings and loyal friends when he's leader attributes from childhood vanished at the present.
Author didn't even bother polishing the characters' connections and proceed with politics where the law is if they everyone wants and needs something, violence is the ultimate answer. Power dynamics is just slap to every readers' face and we don't even know what level is what, who's the same level with who, and why MC is so confident when he acts a like middle schooler always yelling Darwin's survival of the fittest like its some groundbreaking new religion.
If I saw someone dragging people like that, I'd be thinking the same as MC: Murder? Disposing coprse? lol
