Truly, I think it was just a bad situation, in that situation what would have happened is that either both of them died or one of them blamed the other and lived. What everyone (and me) wanted was for Seungji to throw herself to the wolves to save her or somehow get them both out of this situation but that literally didn’t seem possible.
What makes this more vile and harder to digest is that it was completely Seungji’s fault that they were in this situation, she can’t help that she’s a dumbass, every single plan of hers was so freaking dumb, Yeongwon was hypnotised by how hot Seungji was, I KNOW she’s smarter than our dumbass Seungji but she was blinded by love. There was no other choice in that moment for Seungji if she wanted to live and that’s unfortunately the truth. And what we know about Seungji is that to her it’s only her, she lives to live, she needs to take care of herself because no one else will. How many of you would fully sacrifice yourselves in that situation? But knowing that it was Seungji’s fault that they were there makes her choice so much more freaking cowardly. At this point it is what it is.
Now if Yeongwon sees her and doesn’t kill Seungji on spot and instead lets this woman in again to dickmatize her AGAIN, that’s just debasement. You are debasing yourself Yeongwon. Best route for her is to live her life find a better girlfriend who actually cares about her, takes more care of her than Seungji ever could and isn’t a moron. And that Yeongwon doesn’t even think about Seungji anymore. But of course, that isn’t what we are going to see, we are going to see the debasement of Yeongwon.
Edit:Wow I just read ch 31 and Seungji you dumbass if you were going to kill yourself or let yourself willingly be killed then why didn’t you just eat shit that day and die to save Yeongwon????????????????????? What the actual fuck??? Everything she does pisses me off, what, suddenly you’re so ashamed of what you did and you’ve been steeped in regret for so long and you realized that you truly loved her your life no longer holds the number one place for you? Now that you see that you have no more hope of getting out of the life, a motivation you once carried so desperately, you are willing to part with your life so easily??????? The only well written character is the protagonist, her mother (very few lines tho), and Oscar. Author put their whole being into writing her, everything else, the villains, the setting, the romantic interests, even the freaking lore was mid. An extremely well written protagonist couldn’t save it for me, everything else just weighed it dowwwn. Which at least is better than most reincarnation manhwas I guess because they don’t seem to have that lately.
At first, it was good and pretty interesting but after she got her whole revenge, it just went downhill and got very boring and the main couple was so bland
I couldn’t even stick around for the complete revenge, I dropped it when her and Asher first travelled to another kingdom. At that point she just showed that the entire family were a bunch of idiots including step sis and so there was no point in complete revenge for me. I didn’t care about Isis enough to see her destroyed. There wasn’t a villain I would love to hate. She had enough money and was engaged to the prince, she could have just gotten her mom and her maids out. I just didn’t feel that burning desire for revenge anymore. It didn’t feel visceral.

Bye is this a joke, this is one of those rare ones where even the FL can lose a 1v1.. it’s what made it so interesting. Not knowing if the sister wanna gonna one up her or not had me good.

I could even read 58 chapters solely because of her, nothing else was interesting though, not any other character except maybe her mom and Oscar, no proper fleshed out villain, no good back ground, no good lore, nothing else, and eventually even our beloved protagonist couldn’t save it for me.
I see now this is for dudes?????? Why was the author catfishing us???? Either the translations are real shit or did she ask if he liked her and he said “I’m only intimate with your physical body and I really like it” and then they just proceeded to fuck and that was it??? Her boobs have also gotten absolutely ridiculous
