Also Hochan is acting like a little bitch, not acknowledging anything he did, just trying to quietly smooth things over and ew, he’s way more self centred than I thought, especially what he thought the night he went home after the field trip, after walking with Haedam where he realized she liked him, what a asshat istg

Haedam, you are letting things slide that you shouldn’t, and Chanyeol you were right but if the other person says they’re fine then they are, there’s nothing you can do about it other than make them pissed since you are talking about them about how they should feel and what they should do, it sucks that you are right and she’s going to get hurt but you can’t do anything about it so you said your piece, and now you’ve done your part. still Haedam pissed me off this episode, she kept on acting like a little shit afterwards as if he did something very wrong

Also the shoujo genre is evolving, it isn’t as annoying and misogynistic and cliche as it was before. Ex are daybreaking romance, seasons of blossom, and when the day comes. I know we read shoujo first and then we got sick of it since most of them were terrible (some of them were pretty good though, very few), and then moved onto BL because it was a newer genre with more innovation with its story lines, but hey, give shoujo a chance again since better stories are coming out
im near the end of ch 18 and is the author trying to paint the girl knowingly having an affair with a dude and /who does not want commitment and the guy who was tricked into falling in love with the appraiser as the better more pure love? Author, I vehemently disagree with you for all sorts of reasons that you probably already know, the most prominent being that wanting to be a doormat and sacrificing yourself for love isn't healthy or sustainable or good, and anyone who is knowingly allowing that to happen or benefitting themselves from that does not respect their partner as an equal and that's messed up (unless it is truly consensual I guess)
