I think u wrong. This was not consensual sex, ergo it’s rape. Consensual sex is when someone says yes while not under the influence of drugs etc. Hen was clearly under the influence of pheromones and not thinking straight. I don’t know why everyone pairs Hen with Ivan when clearly Ivan is not a good person. If Hen was my friend, I would greatly disapprove of this relationship because multiple times Ivan has taken advantage of Hen. Alek on the other hand although a bit cold (if I’m correct) hasn’t had sex with Hen while he was under the influence of pheromones. When he was, Alek just fingered him (again if I’m remembering correctly). Ivan could have done that or just given Hen saliva. If you had a friend who was drunk and horny begging someone random to fuck him/her and that person did, you wouldn’t encourage the two to be together because that clearly shows the random person as not a good person, taking advantage of someone while not able to make a clear decision. Sorry to butt in but I think you are mistaken. Hen has sex with both snakes because he is unable to say no to either of them. So actually, both Alec and Ivan are having 'non consensual' sex with Hen.
I think that around chapter 21 it's a sexual scene between Alec and Hen. Hen is clearly under the influence of the imprint and Alec is taking advantage of it. Notice that by then, Alec had already told him he was not interested in relationships. Hen is uptight about having sex for sex so you can only understand that Hen would not allow Alec to do what he wants but he has few power of resistance because of the imprint. The whole scene we have Alec controlling the situation and a weakened and disorientated Hen.
I agree with your definition of consensual sex but I disagree with two important things: if you we are going to use the word rape, it applies to any penetrative sex so even fingering is rape if someone is taking advantage of a situation. If that is the case, Alec has also 'raped' Hyun more than once while Hyun was in heat because of the imprint.
The other thing I disagree is that consent is less important if the sex is not penetrative. Alec may not have put his dick inside Hen but that doesn't make him a better man than Ivan because fingering, jerking off, touching or even kissing are all wrong if, as you say, the other person is not in complete control of their decisions.
Alec is also taking advantage of Hen imprint for his own pleasure. So singling out Ivan as a bad person while giving Alec a pass doesn't sound fair.
I am all for denouncing culture of rape in Yaoi but I am against to use a valid argument using a flawed comparison between two equally offending characters just because of favoritism of ship wars. I don't mean to argue on personal level but please review the double standards you are using for both sex ( What Alec is doing is also called sex even if he doesn't stick his dick on Hyun) and consent (Alec is also using the imprint to get Hen into sex submission).

About using double standards to judge, I do apologize; I didn't mean to give Alek a pass. I just can't remember much about the sex scenes with Hen and Alek since Alek doesn't show up as much as Ivan, and this scene was the freshest in my mind.

About Hen having sex with the snakes, not able to say no is the opposite of giving consent. As I stated before, consent is when one says yes while not asleep or incapacitated by drugs or alcohol. In this case, I view the pheromones as an aphrodisiac which is a drug. This means even if he's begging for them to fuck him his "consent" is not applicable. I will be using this latest chapter as reference merely because my memory is a bit fuzzy for the other sex scenes. In the beginning of this scene, Ivan was clearly able to resist Hen begging for sex, yet in the middle, he went "Fuck it. Imma do it. Imma bone Hen," even though he knows Hen's view on sex. Ivan had control and was in the right mind to make a decision, but he made a conscious decision to fuck Hen despite knowing Hen wasn't in a right state of mind.

In addition, I do agree that Alek was controlling the situation and a weakened and disorientated Hen. However, I do want to point that although Alek wasn't interested in a relationship, he went out with Hen on a date. (Again, if I'm remembering correctly.) This may have sent out mixed signals to Hen, and as you stated beforehand, Hen doesn't want to have sex for sex but only in a relationship. As Hen may have been getting mixed signal and clearly desires to be in a relationship with Alek, he may have been okay with it. Nevertheless, I do agree that what Alek did was rape as Hen wasn't able to give consent with the state he was in. I just wrote that paragraph as food for thought lol. Sorry if it wasn't what you thought it was. To those who may read this and think otherwise, this may be entertaining to read about, but fiction and reality are different. Please do understand this is not "cool". And as always...
