I find it funny that the cocubine will finally get what she wants (or thinks she wants) and it'll only be for 2 years because the King is just doing it to make the baby legit and to bring the original Empress back. Also can't wait for the Empress to ask to remarry and the trashy Emperor to fall to ruin when he realizes A. that it's probably him that's infertile (idk if you can do fertility tests in this time but there's no way to tell if the concubine was always faithful to the King at the beginning of their relationshit or not, could be genuine now but her current actions just ruin it) and B. he's never going to be happy/get what he wants and it's all his own fault.
Should've been happy with what he had, it was too good for him anyway.
Of course, these are my own predictions and opinions from what I've gathered from reading and I could be wrong...but we'll see soon.
As you can tell, I'm not a fan of the main Emperor and think the Concubine is a product of her environment. The Empress deserves better and can't wait until she does get better (they always do in a good story). (⌒▽⌒)
I'm guessing the next story will be about the current alpha's actual partner mentioned in this chapter..
