I actually agree with his choice, there's no way he will fall in love with Jonggu if he remains to think of him as his dog, and Jonggu will never be able to be happy while his master just uses his body when he's single and forgets about him while he's dating.
The choice to date the red head guy was already the worst possible, he didn't once think of Jonggu as an individual who he had a relationship to consider before going to someone else. I was very pleased when Jonggu left, because he doesn't deserve any of that, he didn't have to change himself so much thinking of his master, he should begin to think about himself from now on, and find happiness in other things before he can go back to his master and love him again.
