1. I was very excited for the art style of the cover. Then disappointed that it was just the ordninary (still very good) art style. But it just doesn't look like the cover at all.
2. The story/FL kind of gives me "I'm not like other girls" vibes. In addition with the evil girl who slept with the stupid fiancee, it kind of feels like the story likes blaming or bashing other women.
The engagement wrecker girl is also at fault but the story really forces her into the evil role who tricked the stupid guy and the FL into the victim role. The man/trusted friend of years did nothing for the FL but the woman (who may not have known of the fiancee) is portrayed more evil than him (the cheater).
Idk how to explain it. I read the story with the empress whose husband cheated but it felt totally different than this. Probably the attitude of the FL in addition with the portrayal of the engagement wrecker.
3. The story was not only cliche but also boring. Cliche can be enjoyable to read. Not the case here.
4. It would have been really nice to read a story where both girls are shocked when finding out that the cheater lied to both of them and unite against him. Girls supporting girls. The "Not like the other girls"-girl and the "other girls"-girl supporting each other. And then falling in love with each other or finding men they love.
Seriously would have been a better story.
What I like about this manhwa: The prince could easily have been the male lead in another manhwa in which the author tries to "redeem" him and justify his behaviour later. And the male lead in this one would have been the nice second lead without any real chance. I really appreciate the author for not doing that and not forcing a disgusting piece of shit male lead on us.
Yes. The author made a real evil villain, not just a hot bad boy, and she committed to it. The people complaining about a villain being a villain are so irritating.
I hate this love-both-look-alikes/twins theme. It's so weird for me. There will always be this insecurity that he doesn't love you but your look-alike. And he only wanted to meet him because he looked like him while he still loved the other one.
He really should have stayed with Rick and not Ed.
The ending really doesn't sit well with me.

Summary: He controlled her, used her and she was just a fish in his pond, warmed up for him when he felt like it until he finally realized "Oh yeah, I have feelings for the sister of my friend who I treated like shit". No respect for the brother either.
I like the plot in itself but the storyline is so hard to follow. Are chapters missing?? It feels like between each chapter should be at least 2-3 more.
