what's fucking sad to think about is that our mc loves every aspect he knows of his captain, but the captain does not. though he does care about mc, mc has to act stupid and be his dog to follow him around and likes him enough to be loved, and the captain gets weirded out when he stops acting in these ways. just goes to show they were doomed from the start.

To everyone confused so far here's a summary of what happened up until this point, feel free to correct me.
So the gray-haired MC was captured because he was part of a group of infamous drug dealers(?) (they seem like they were sorta framed and there is probably more to it). The group is supposed to be executed because most of them are addicted to a drug, which for some reason is a capital offense, among other things such as narcotics dealings. However, he is separated because his former kindergarten classmates run a firm that kills the devils/monsters, and they have a negative history esp. with the blonde short-hair, ginger, and mc. For some reason, they want him, maybe because of revenge, it's not extremely clear other than the reasons provided at the first meeting.

The MC seems really stupid and weak throughout this whole ordeal, but it's clear he's trying to escape by any means possible. So he tries to escape using the help of the ginger dude (who does not like him but isn't as possessive as the blonde). So MC tries to escape and gets stuck in a devil's maze where they need to have papapa to escape. He can't have sex with the blackette cause of the bombs on the blackette's peepee, but the fox(?) and elf classmate do instead. Anyways, the MC ends up showing another more crazy, reckless, and powerful side which surprises the blackette and readers. He helps kill it and then escapes while everyone else is healing. He then sees his former crew being executed on live television, with the exclusion of their leader.
Then it shows the backstory of how he and the leader of his gang met. It had been established that somehow a monster broke into the kindergarten, I think, and the mc got injured and had amnesia, leading to his dramatic shift in personality. He was found by some of the gang members (who were kids at the time too) and they had to turn him over to a bad man who controlled those gang kids at the time to be sold as a child prostitute. He met the current(?) leader of the gang there too, who was going to be sold off along with him. He decided to help the current(?) gang leader escape by helping him kill the bad dude. He was dying because of it, but then the current(?) gang leader took him in because he swore loyalty and said something that he does not remember.
Some things to note are:
- The current gang leader and the blonde angel dude from the kindergarten look pretty similar but are not the same person. The gang leader lost his eye, while the kindergarten dude had both of his eyes. The gang leader is also powerless, while the kindergarten dude is obviously not. I will elaborate on this when I discuss the raws further below. It might be a result of the artificial wombs creating men, maybe they had the same donor or something.
- The MC's personality shifted greatly from when he was a kid, but not completely, it seems that his cynical, bloodthirsty personality is being masked by his outward demeanor for the most part. This covered-up personality seems to be the reason that the blonde angel dude and ginger classmates hate him, but the plot thickens.

The MC and former gang leader have a close relationship, mc is extremely defensive and protective of the gang leader. They also have sex. MC tops the former gang leader. Also, they had connections to this handsome but evil man who was building a doll using a devil/monster's heart. When meeting with the handsome evil man, the devil-made doll steals one of the gang leader's eyes, and the evil handsome man laughs because that's how he is building the doll- by taking things from humans to give the doll body parts. The gang leader simply lets it happen and tells MC not to retaliate, implying that man is very powerful in some way. He might be relevant later in the story. It also gives insights into how devils are born or can be used in this world.
