I totally agree with you! Why wouldn't she want to go back? The MC must have worked so hard to get where she was in her life, how could she just give it up like that? I think the assistant, the bamboo rat, is Agent Zero. The agent that saved Su Luxia and died saving her. This is just my thought and theory.
1. They both have blond hair.
