I really liked this a lot. Often times , bl is super unrealistic and just about sex. That’s not inherently a bad thing, but sometimes it gets super fetishizing and rapey, which can get uncomfortable. This one,,,, wow. It’s so relatable that I cried. Rape is traumatic and terrible, and it also illustrates the ill effects homophobia has on one’s mental health. Kirino’s story also hit me because some people may never be able to fully express themselves and live the way they want due to societal pressures.
