finally someone going to teach Ranzo speech/literacy.
I like the idea of it but we’ll see how it goes. Irl when kids go through what he has they can never actually become literate or learn to speak more that handfuls of words or phrases because if at least one language isn’t learned by a certain point of development as a child it will not be possible to become fully capable of speech. There is a case of a girl who was basically chained up to a chair in a room from early childhood to teenage or adulthood before being saved and they could never get her to speak like you or I. It was a documentary where I learned about all of this, very very sad.
I love this author, though lately they haven't put anything else out! Their works are EXTREMELY dark and disturbing, but Heartless is one of my all-time favorites and I hope they make something like it again some day.
Not true, it's just haven't been translated

as long as the jewel is the bodyguard's priority number one, it's hard to like him. He knows that the jewel is Ray/Sooha's only weapon, and he still wants to take it from them.
Also, I just feel really sorry for Ray, who has the least say in anything and zero power to better his situation, to the point where he is thinking about death. just sad.
At the end, I just hope Ray doesn't actually disappear.

the art is the cutest thing ever
