I LOVE how complex of a character Suu is. He's caring, cunning, kind, selfish, resourceful, etc. He's super well-balanced and as the further the story goes, the more I want to protect him. Cuz most of all, he's kinda vulnerable.
this is a great read, but a frustrating one. It seems that everyone Suu comes across has different intent for him. Suu can't make any of his own decisions, and it's driving me insane. He's finally learned the truth and went ahead and forgot it. I hope he's faking it, dear god. he needs to get the hell out of there and take a breath of fresh air for himself

But the thing is, what you described isn't all you can do with omegaverse, it's just what most authors ever care to do. I have read omegaverse before that weren't the same mind numbing nonsense, so it's *possible* to break the norm, but mangaka would rather shove some rape, maybe some angst, and some big strong alpha in there, and be done with it
I am not really sure how you can tell all this from what´s been given so far..
But if you know some good omegaverse yaoi that stands out bring it on. I would love to know more..
