I wouldn't call it "developing feelings" for the brother. I think its because she's confused with all of Leo's doing. He shows love to Satie but also supports Irene who was known to be his lover. Then of course this brother comes with puppy eyes for her. And i think because of pure respect and doesnt want to hurt his feelings, she cant turn him down.
