I didn’t read from the novel from the beginning but so I can’t say for sure but I’d say the events are different? She does fall sick in the novel, but not like she did in the manhwa, and no knights were involved, also the way she learned about the head maid’s embezzlement is also different (in the novel, she is just suspecting it at first, whereas here in the manhwa she heard it directly and is trying to gather proof)
Anyway I think the novel is just as good as the manhwa, but you definitely need to read it from the start
