Honestly, to people still here expecting for things to improve or for MC's character to go 180 and turn OP, it's not gonna happen. You're all better off dropping this manwha cus it ain't worth it. I read the novel so i got all the plot and context stuff down, that's why i'm still here cus the manwha is just a side dish to the novel.

So chapter 1 of manwha appears in the novel after probably..40 chapters in??? Probably even more. I call it volume 1. I'd say volume 1 has all lf the world building, character introduction and game mechanics intro so it's best not to skip. If yiu read even further, you'll see that one of the plots in the volume 1 appears in the manwha as a source of conflict. I guess they found the plot too important to throw away cus it was Baek's very own story. They also had to get rid of a character too cus they got introduced in volume 1 as a side character. Guess they were deemed not important :/ i likes them though...MC saw him getting bullied and he stood up for him..it's kinda similar to what he does when the celestial in the party was being assaulted but he actually shot an arrow at the bullies at the former.
Also i saw someone mention in the comments that most recent chapter of manwha appears on the novel at...75 i believe?

In the manwha, though going by novel, hopefully we'll get to see some action from mc in the manwha..probably in season 2. Mc is pretty flimsy in the manwha.
Ranking is based on tower progression. As it was explained multiple times in the manwha, MC managed to change the race of his vassals and duke and that basically changed the game for him. It's probs not mentioned in the manwha but him being a great support type player helped boost his vassals and Duke's power. Allowing them to steamroll through the tower. For all we know, MC never took part in the kingdom invasion aspect of the game and only focused on the tower.
Do remember that a king's strenght and power is completely different compared to their vassals and duke. Each has a job type or has a specialized stat...MC is someone unfortunate enough to be handed a support only role in the game but the added flavour text of his skills makes him strong as a support. His stats leans on the MP/mana side as well.
Unfortunately cus a lot pf stuff got skipped in the manwha, we never really got to see MC actually use his skills actively, so to manwha readers, he's just a wimp.

We do kinda see it when after he finally get to go out of his room in the kingdom for the first time and then they got invaded by airships, we get to see MC use his skills to boost the stats of his vassals while they fight off the airship. Though...it was done kinda sloppily, i don't think anyone else remembered that happening...it was one of those things where you skim and forget cus the manwha skims through it as well, as if an afterthough.
Honestly i think that's the weakness of the manwha, they're not that great at fight choreography and effects(like magic and stuff). Like with how the novel describes it, i wish the manwha was done in the same style as those other generic tower climbing cheat style manwha cus their style of fight choreo and effect style would fit the novel really well. Idfc if the side effect is MC not looking as pretty or no smut cus novel had no smut in the first place.

As of now even though a lot of details from novels are cut off the manhwa is still enjoyable and understandable. I haven't read the raws of the manhwa but what I'm thinking is they're retelling the story in a different way (happens in other story that adapted from a novel) not the way in the novel so maybe the other details of the story might be reveal or shown in the future chapters, or maybe it's just me hoping this lol

Yeah, before MC quit the game, things were going well between him and the duke actually. MC redeemed himself to his vassals and the Duke after the race changing fiasco but during the scene where MC checks Duke's feelings for him, someone altered the Duke's answer. So MC thought Duke hates him and quit the game but on Duke's side, nothing was altered so he thought that MC was playing with his feelings and rejected him like the Duke was some sort of monster( essentially, telling someone you're close to you love him, the other person said they love you too but then out of nowhere, you look horrified by their answer and dropped them out of your life)
Honestly, there's too much cut out. It was 40+ chapters worth of one arc gotten rid of, maybe in flashbacks but with how the story is going, it's kinda hard to bring it up.

I read some korean reviews in the raw site for the manwha and i've seen some mention that since the novel is 15+, they would make the manwha 18+ as some sort of bonus for novel readers. Making it so that plot and context wise, manwha readers are fucked cus the manwha was made specifically for novel readers who wanted action.
Judging from the reviews though whoever made this decision fucked up cus a lot mentioned how the manwha story is now ruined.

I think people still have this misconception that the vassals and duke are some sort of NPCs that we often see in the games we have here in our world but they aren't.
MC isn't the only one to give credit on why his kingdom is so powerful. In truth, the Grand Dukes of each kingdom are very intelligent and are capable rulers themselves. MC's playstyle before being isekaid is similar to a puppet king when you compare it to actual historical stuff. He was the face of the kingdom, brought morale, and handled the recruitment of skilled vassals to make his kingdom stronger.
BIG HOWEVER, MC never handled the political, war related and all that complicated kingdom shit. His Grand Duke was in charge of that and that was what MC and the Grand Duke was cool with.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE remember that their race, got a godly boost of stats because of the potion. MC never got that boost before the isekai but after he took the potion after the isekai, there's no change really. It basically allowed him to eat the same food as his people(reason why he kept puking) and since MC's a PURE support type charcater, the only boost he probably got is his mana/MP stat. Again, the King and his vassals/duke may be the same race but each and every single one of them has different specialties, expertise and stats based on those 2!!! So while his vassals and Duke are fucking OP, MC won't be the same!!!
