So out of the whole family of psychos, he's the only one who has a conscious. It's been a while since i last read the LN(and i dropped around after the tree incident, shid was getting heavy) so i might be misremembering. Nissus apologized and recognizes his family and their treatment of her was beyond messed up, Seria doesn't forgive him or accept the apology but her view of him is bit warmer. She still treats him coldly but better compared to the rest of her family.
