People are praising it for being revolutionary. But other than a swap of gender roles, It's basically the same ol shtick. The same folks who shit on omegaverse daily are all here fangirling over the omega who's basically the alphas they always complain about. Arrogant, looks down on others and discriminates. Even does the same techniques as the usual Alphas, overwhelm the weaker gender thru pheromones to have their way on them. Omega may have given the alpha a 30 second trial thing but we all know he'll use his pheromones to tempt the alpha.
Only difference from the usual omegaverse is that the Alpha gets no heats..meaning no rape plot device.
Don't get me wrong though, omegaverse is my shit, just that, all these comments are making me roll my eyes so hard. I'd understand if all of the genders are on equal footing but bruh. It's basically same ol thing.
tru tru, but coming from someone who usually hates omegaverse. the rape plot device was the whole problem, moreover, what it said about omegas. the omega's were almost always.... kinda passive and pushovers. They had no power and it was strangely parallel to the old views everybody had about woman and men. regardless, what's refreshing about this is that the switching of genderolls gives the characters a chance to be on equal footing, the omega isn't a girly weak willed pushover and the alpha is just kinda average.

That was a lot of judgment in 3 chapters bro don’t you think so? we’re probably still on 10% of the beginning or sumn. The author is known for making unusual storylines with characters standing on equal foot in a relationship despite having forceful meeting at the first. I get where you came from but the swap of gender roles used in this story opens up possibilities of upcoming omegaverse stories with better- not so cliche plot.

So basically you saying how people shouldn't analyze fiction is fine but people analyzing fiction isn't. Someone can't make connections from fiction to the real world. Someone can't say "rape shouldn't be heavily correlated with a genre especially yaoi because it links back to the 50s and 60s idea that you aren't born gay you were just raped". There's a history of it and while having it in some stories is a given why does it have to be the majority? Your little submissive attitude to just accept terrible shit happening in every story isn't helping anyone. What if all stories involving black people have them kill, steal, and destroy. Or if most stories with Hispanics have them as potheads. Those would just be stories right? but they are perpetuating harmful stereotypes. Gay men being raped is a harmful stereotype that you are just letting be because it's entertaining. This story didn't need rape, most stories don't need rape. It would be cute without the rape. To those who have a hate boner on the brothers, please remember that the ones at fault are the parents. Because they can't fucking do parenting right. They never cleared up things to the children, didn't give them the talk. They don't even correct their bullying the proper way. Like really? Slapping a kid over candy?

Please consider that when the parents were still alive, their presence prevented things to escalate. But as I've said, they never corrected shit properly and never gave them a proper heart to heart talk. So their resentment for hari just simmers and is bottled. Then the parents die, there's no authority figure to stop their childish bullying and because there parents are not their to stop them, the bullying got worse.
