Well, Cain was trying to look for a doctor to treat his heart condition (wow that makes it sound like Cain is an old grandpa with coronary heart disease) which is Aaron (dude with the clones) but Cain doesn’t know this, and Sid basically betrayed Cain when he employed the crazy guy to kill the doctor, but little did he know it was his clone Delta’s head and not Aaron’s because the compass was supposed to lead them to the doctor. Cain didn’t actually know any of this because why would he sabotage himself when the fragments are slowly killing him? The doctor is the only one who can actually help him so it wouldn’t make sense to use this as a test to see if Sid was really trying to betray him.
this is not related to the chapter but, I read a few Ao3 fanfic of 19days and I keep on getting the same back ground like Jian Yi was missing for 2-3years, and when he get back the 3 other is already in college. is it true? coz I re-read the whole thing trice and I dont seem to find that fact.
