When I first read it i thought it would be a cliche yaoi but I appreciate author-san for giving the mangaka more depth and didnt make him out to be just a dense character but rather a character that just doesn’t get how love works. In some ways I do relate and sympathize with the mangaka when he thinks he can’t love n be loved bc of his lack of understanding of what love is
