I think it only means that one of his parents is an omega and the other is not.
I kinda get the feeling that he just thinks of himself as a half omega because he doesn't look like the typical omega and never produced pheromones/went into heat.

Well, he has 2 genders, omega and male. Other mangas don’t really phrase it as “half male” or “half omega” but that could be the case.
Half omega bc he just has some of the same features as an “typical” omega. He doesn’t/didn’t went into heat, doesn’t look like a omega...one would call it a “defective” omega maybe? but that sounds too harsh, so half omega is a better term for it idk

I dunno if it's just me, but this story seems to skip around a lot, like it's missing scenes or even whole pages. It was really hard for me to follow what's happening from one scene to the next at times. Not sure if this is the reason but, even with such a great premise, this story just fell flat for me.

Does who your friends are and who you hang out with actually go on your school records? I can't imagine that actually being the case, so I'm not really sure why Kaga was even worried about that. He seems to be on the student council, possibly even the president since they're having him go over and approve the lists of school trips, he's a straight A student at the top of his class, and all around nice and polite to everyone, even those he secretly wants to punch to death.
