The way Ilay’s character was established in the first chapters made me wonder how the hell these people cannot tell that he will most likely be a possessive beast that cannot interpret his emotions???? Like how do the hell did they not figure out that this story will have non-consensual sex as part of its plot when his personality is already like that.
