It was pretty obvious this is how everything was gonna go down. They’ve shown since the beginning that everyone was afraid of Guwon and the most likely reason was that they knew he wouldn’t hesitate to kill someone. Also, it’s nothing new that a town in the middle of the apocalypse would start acting like a cult.
Now I’m curious to see how things are gonna go between him and teach… teach can’t just ignore what he saw but he can’t stay mad forever because that’s our main couple LOL

I don’t think the ending was bad, it actually surprised me a bit. This story does have a more serious tone so a happier ending would’ve felt a bit out of place.
I’m glad Noah got the “closure” he needed with his father. I think the ending would’ve been a bit more satisfying to me if Dylan understood that Noah didn’t just do that because “he can’t live differently” or that “he can’t change”, I feel like he WAS ready to change but he lost control when he saw the man that abused him for years, honestly I can’t blame him for that. He killed his abusive father and a guy who beat his wife multiple times and from what he said his other victims weren’t good people either so am I not supposed to support him? lol
Dylan was a very traumatized character. Imagine being kidnapped and feeling conflicted about your feelings for the man who kidnapped you, and if that wasn’t enough you’d keep having hallucinations of him even after his death (a death that you couldn’t even remember if you were responsible for). That translator’s note saying he had the worst character development ever did bother me a bit…
And yes I also feel bad for Jade but we have to agree that he got the best ending out of everyone lol I try to see the whole situation as him getting the chance to say a proper goodbye to Scott… kind of. I’m being a Noah defender here again but he did feel very bad for Jade and did wish that he could’ve lived a happy life with him but unfortunately he knew that wouldn’t work out for any of them.
Oh well I didn’t expect this review to be so long but here it is. It was a good story! It’s not a story where you can look at a character and say they are totally bad or good because their situations are not simple, it’s a story that makes you reflect a bit after finishing it and I think that’s great.
I do love this one but it feels like the same insecurities and issues they had on chapter 20 were still there on chapter 100, so it felt a bit frustrating at times.
Yes, they do communicate about the things that bother them but then the same thing would happen later and they’d feel insecure again. Honestly, some of these issues shouldn’t be a problem after they’ve been dating for YEARS. It just looks exhausting.
