Green flag this, red flag that... god forbid a character is actually interesting.
Everything points to Guwon not being human and yet people here in the comments are expecting him to act like a normal person. We still don't know where he came from or how he was treated in the past but it is OBVIOUS he isn't normal, has been obvious since the first chapters.
And I don't think he is evil. Guwon truly believes the only people who deserve to stay alive are the ones who are useful to the city, you could tell that his reaction after getting slapped was genuine. Does that make the things he did right? No, but there wasn't anyone brave enough to tell him that what he is doing is wrong.
Keep in mind that these people are not living in a normal world with normal laws and rules, you can't expect them to act like you would. You'd also be afraid to say anything to the man who just killed someone with a baseball bat or crushed someone's head with his own hands.
Right!? I feel like people want to be spoon fed characters as "good" and "evil", where did the love of complexity go? Why doesn't anyone want to have to interpret a characters actions instead of just having a black and white definition spelled out for them?
EXACTLY. What makes me crazy is that it's not hard to understand his character, specially after this chapter, but since he's not the green flag they wanted him to be they just want him to die now lol as I've already said on a previous comment people came to read a zombie apocalypse story expecting everything to be sunshine and rainbows and obviously they didn't get that.
I do love this one but it feels like the same insecurities and issues they had on chapter 20 were still there on chapter 100, so it felt a bit frustrating at times.
Yes, they do communicate about the things that bother them but then the same thing would happen later and they’d feel insecure again. Honestly, some of these issues shouldn’t be a problem after they’ve been dating for YEARS. It just looks exhausting.
As most comments already said.. the art is amazing and the plot is a bit rushed but even so I still love it a lot!!! They’re so cute:( I think this would’ve been perfect if it had 2 volumes.
It was pretty obvious this is how everything was gonna go down. They’ve shown since the beginning that everyone was afraid of Guwon and the most likely reason was that they knew he wouldn’t hesitate to kill someone. Also, it’s nothing new that a town in the middle of the apocalypse would start acting like a cult.
Now I’m curious to see how things are gonna go between him and teach… teach can’t just ignore what he saw but he can’t stay mad forever because that’s our main couple LOL
he’s our strongest soldier. many people wouldn’t have survived that.
The fact he was mobile after that is a feat in itself
Cute but all the drama felt a bit… childish? I feel like if you removed the vampire stuff the story wouldn’t change that much lol
