So basically, the thing that Philomel read in the book, and also her situation that we see in Chapter 1, Philomel was correct that they were in a book, but not the OG novel.
They were living in the fanfic version of the OG novel, cuz in the of novel, Philomel was unharmed after Ellencia was found, and then a reader hated that so much they made a whole new fanfic where Philomel was shunned, abandoned, and executed

I love ALL of the characters in this manhwa, yes even Charlotte and Maria, because they deserve some love too, given that most people seem ready to forgive Dion - who was nearly the cause of the death of Roxana's mother - and he wasn't even remorseful about it.
i honestly don't find Charlotte irritating, or Maria - in fact i'm oddly fond of them. Charlotte because she's so cute with her evil look and Maria has this overprotectiveness over Sierra - thank God, I'm not watching another evil stepmother trope - i just smell girl crush vibes from her.
Honestly, Maria's constantly on crack what with her "I have never been this proud of you since the day you were born" and "Yeah Dion! Why did you kill Ashil that day?" anyways. if you guys wish for a happy ending for Jeremy and Dion, Maria and Charlotte also deserves one (づ￣ ³￣)づ

There was some spoiler that said the queen dowager is the real cinderella and daniel is the son of the fairy godmother. i don't like cinderella, but i don't hate it either. i just hate how fucking naive the queen dowager is. she's just a lucky girl who had a fairy godmother help them, and on top of that have a pretty face. take away the pretty face and let's see if the prince even tries to find her, or notices her on the party.
