I was kinda pleased because I was really, REALLY sorry for Oyu... She was so pitiful! I mean, Soina at least got to enjoy a happy life with the only exception of her encounter with the fox (her words that an eternal creature like the fox had never enjoyed even a bit of the happiness that even a sickly person like her had, due to being loved by many precious people, were absolutely spot on...) but Oyu never got to hear one loving word from the only other person she ever had in her life besides her own child... At least Asaga's last minutes of guilt over secretly developing feelings for another woman would help give some meaning to the horrible life he made Oyu go through, never letting her in, but still obsesively thwarting each and every single one of her escape attempts, and cruelly admitting he would only allow her son to leave but not herself, when she outright begged him... And yet he never let her hear one word about his feelings, abusing her constantly and letting her sink alone in her misery... The only good thing about Oyu's entire life is she at least got to outlive him and survived to spend the last years with her son.
