Super late,but its because Akira's dream got connected to Haruto's dream after they shared kisses and saliva. And because Akira's dream is leading to his death,each dream they have is equivalent to a nightmare, so Haruto hasnt been getting enough sleep. He was extremely tired after so many days of interrupted sleep, so when he was going up the stairs,he simply fainted from lack of energy and fell down the stairs.
