There is no redemption arc for JJ. Sorry if you like him, but there isn’t. He’s a rapist, a narcissist bastard, egocentric and violent in everything he does. There is not one reason to like him. “But he’s hot” - I can’t even think he’s hot with all the shit he does, I really couldn’t care less about his body. And doc Dan is made to be the complete opposite - the angel uke, that only does good things for everyone, has some kind of debt and gets assaulted in every way and even thinks he deserves or is guilty of that treatment.
