I know! When I first started reading, I thought that at the very least the protagonist was going to be progressive and show the people of this world equality, but then she just literally regressed. I also thought it was going to be a juxtaposition to the usual romance stories of this era where the male lead treats the female lead like shit, but it’s actually the same it’s just like you said the roles are reversed. I guess my hopes were too high ;(
