I have to say I'm disappointed
That scene was so emotional and painful to read in the novel. MC was so brave while enduring the pain and ML wanted to minimise his pain as much as possible. I was so invested while reading it and felt for them. The manhwa just doesn't convey the same emotions. And there is much plot missing. It's like the manhwa just wants hit the high points and is rushing through the story.
Even though I haven't read the novel, i agree that the scenese after they save him is lacking all drama i need to cope with the tearing of wings chapters. I need more passion ヾ(☆•☆)
What also annoyed me is that, after MC was held prisoner for who knows how long, was tortured and had is wing ripped of, had his wing healed through a painful process, ML is like...let's fuck! What the he'll! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ let him recover first!
The whole relationship and emotion with the retainers and friends are also non T>T.

This could have been good but sadly it is not. The story is strangely rushed. So much plot is just missing. MCs relationship with her classmates and the first love interests are so underdeveloped. And how did she go from student teacher relationship and thinking of him as a father to a romantic relationship?! The professor's character also suddenly changed. And the politics are also not really explained. I'm dropping it.

Right now I don't like FL. They have established that he loves her and that there is no real danger to his life at the moment. The sister could have killed him when no one was guarding him. So why is she insisting to be in his room and guard him. She could change places with the one at the door. Why is she making it harder for him?!
Am I the only one or does it feels like they are foreshadowing that Theo will develop a pain killer problem.
