Maybe an unpopular opinion but I really didn't like the manga all that much. And ir has nothing to do with the age gap. At the beginning it was interesting but then the civil war started.
The Queen somehow invented guns but wr never see or hear about them again.
Than they meet that guy cheng from the foreign country that helped start the war and was planning to invade them. And they decided to make a deal with him. Why the hell would you do that?!
In exchange for his help they would help him become king? How exactly are they going to help him, having to rebuild a war torn country?! And he barely helped them anyway. The plan to get into the Palace could have been accomplished without his help.
And at the end they didn't even kill the King because they didn't want to spill more blood?! How naive can you be?! So frustrating (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

You can always read a novel, this is just a 2 volume light read. Don't think hard when it comes to BL's except if there's actual built up lore.
Oh no! Please, please, please don't listen to that fucked up head family. Tell Mugo everything. From what I understand, the head family depends on Mugo. They can't risk angering him. They apparently have a give and take relationship but Mugo seems to be the one with most of the power.
But in all likelihood he will keep it a secret and spie on Mugo or something （￣へ￣）

I really dislike Ash in the latest chapter. You can't just start bdsm with you partner without having a proper conversation about your wants and needs your boundaries and limitations. And where is the safe word?!
