CAUSE there might be a chance where the Manhwa author choose to change the story from the novel. it has happened before, where a novel gets adapted into a Manhwa and the plot gets changed for the better. fingers crossed!!
I agree with you if this were a historical romance or modern story but a lot of the BL writers love to add unnecessary plot points like in that alpha cheating story the bl writer took the shitty story a step further
