In short, medea is supposed to be crown princess and engaged to the prince, but prince loves psyche, so psyche is the prince's fiancee and also the new crown princess, medea hates psyche and want to take everything back, so they switch bodies
Spoiler (don't read it if you don't want to)
After switching bodies, medea finally realize that psyche isn't loved by the prince, the prince even want to kill psyche so medea has to deal with the murder attempt because she's in psyche's body
In medea's body, psyche finally see the truth how medea suffers after losing her position as crown princess (psyche accepted that position because she loves the prince and she knew medea doesn't love the prince at all, so she thought medea will be fine even when she's losing the position as crown princess, but apparently she suffers)
Medea and psyche were originally best friends before all the misunderstandings, so after they switch bodies and learn about each other's trauma and sufferings, they become empathize with each other and become best friends again
They also need to take down the evil prince
