Just because something is legal doesn’t make it okay. There is a big difference between laws and morals. I wasn’t upset because you didn’t like, I was upset with your justification. The solid reason to hate this is because it normalizes pedophilia. Especially in the very casual, its okay because of magic way. It doesn’t matter whats legal, it matter that its hurting someone and thats wrong. I know you may not get much out of this, but the things we consume in media matter! The influence, teach, and tell us what is okay. If they wanted to write a story with pedophilia they could have written in a very better way, if they wanted the relations to be okay then they should have changed the ages. First I feel like I have to make one point clear, I absolutely don't support this type of relationship just to be clear, especially when the age gap gets bigger it's just.. it's just toxic.. and reckless, marriage is not a game, and people should marry when they are adults like that must not change. And i do not support pedophilia, depending on what both of us know pedophilia as that is.

So first of all I am not sure what manga we are talking about, so I can use your correction if I had made a few mistakes, I read lots of manga so I forget stuff, but I guess can assume the case from our previous comments and my memories.

Let me see, there's of course an older guy right? Cuz that is always the case. Let me see he is a teacher trainee right and not a teacher, so I assume he's about, and considering that it takes place in a nobles society he should be between 15 to 18 at maximum 19-21 and i doubt he's any older than 19 so he could NOT be in his thirties like you said in the comment.
I'm going to assume she is reincarnated so that explains why SHE would be attracted to him but the case we are discussing here is from a general clueless side looker and the guy himself's POVs

Now laws actually do matter but only to some extent i mean first of all you actually HAVE to look on the situation legally, is it even legal, usually you can legally marry if there is a 15 years old gap and both partners are above 15 (I think 15 must be with parents approval), that's what i meant by the laws before. And THEN after that we go into the moral side. Personally (in the real life) I prefer relationships to have partners be at least 19 years and older and the age gap mustn't go above 10 years gap like that is just a no to me, and crossing the 15 years gap is OFF-LIMITS.

A girl in my class got engaged at age 15 when her parents found out she was dating a guy her age, and the couple were happy i guess, everyone found it weird cuz stuff like that just rarely happen here, and really I personally did not like that, marriage is no game, both sides need to be prepared for this, academically, financially and everything, but, and pay attention to this point here, what right do I have to go shame her in her case, just because I personally didn't support it, since it was legal and she was happy with her engagement would my opinion really matter here. I would have a say however if it was someone I'm actually close to. Problem is we don't even know their actual ages, especially how the story is taking place a nobles society many variables change, even though she's reincarnated from the modern world, heck it'd be weird pic he started crushing on her here, or is it not? Since it's a nobles society? In any ways, I personally do not really like these age gap stories they are, they are just irritating, but I feel like I can't tell someone they are pedophile if they liked a story with age gaps cuz hey, it depends on the case and what ages and story we are talking about.

I am not going to respond anymore because I’m not one for these kinda things. I assume that you’re very young so I am sorry that you don’t understand. We were talking about the same thing, I just don’t think it clicking for you. To give you some answers. When one person is significantly older even in legal relationships, the older person has power over the younger(if in nothing else experience) that why you can’t talk about age gap with talking about power dynamics in romantic relationships. And the reason that the girl is the problem is because she is reincarnated. The fact that she is “older inside” is very very wrong. It makes relationship she has with kids her age unpleasant. Being mentally a different age is a common excuse used by child predators. That they are really just a child inside and that why they like to be with children. Which is super gross, but is somewhat normalized in these kids of storylines( even if it in reverse ) Something being typically okay because of a magical reason is never a good way to tells story, because it normalizes behavior that is unacceptable and stories influence culture. And its okay to take things personally. I said you were taking it that way because of how you responded, not as an insult or anything. It was more of a reminder to take a step back when you are trying out new concepts and to keep you mind open. I hope you have a good day!

Well i am not actually that young so I do think of myself as someone pretty much capable of having a conversation here, not offended or anything but just stating.
Yea i get why you don't want to respond, these things get old and tiring pretty fast and they are a little draining so it isn't worth it.

But i mean, yes it's a majority but it does not always have to depend on who is older to lead a certain relationship, because one can have more experience and are younger, but yes I have to approve, it is usually the older one taking lead especially when as you stated are "significantly" older. Which leads to the next issue with the girl being mentally older, and child predators in real life that make excuses to be with children that they are mentally older, and you state that it is not okay for this behaviour to be normalised because of a magical reason stating that it is not a good way to tell stories as it normalizes pedophilia not only that but it's troublesome for the girl herself. I see, and this is a rather interesting way I must actually admit. By far everything you said is logical and pretty eye-opening, but by far the stuff happening in the story as far as I remember were that the girl has a crush on that teacher and really nothing much happened. Unless you are talking generally about stories then i have to actually agree with you on that, not all seriously and all but these stories are kinda messed up a little.
