I don't have a kid of my own but for the future can a mother or a parent I general tell me does it hurt to breast feed and is there anything in particular that I would have to do for it to be alright for my baby to drink
I'm not a mom but I have 4 sister in laws and a sister who have had children. From what they say it doesnt hurt, though once your baby starts growing teeth they may start biting or even teething during the breastfeeding process. My advice is to either get a breast pump and prepare bottles ahead of time for baby or to wean the baby off breast feeding as soon as possible. Itll be a bit difficult, but it's for your own sake. Plus, its different for every kid so it could end up easier for you. Also dont get them hooked on binkies because omg it's both a blessing and a curse.
Also, your only concern will be getting baby to latch on! Besides that it's all good if you're planning on breastfeeding. If you want to use formula, or want to try changing between formula milk and breast milk then just make sure the milk is slightly warm, but dont overdo it or you could burn their mouth. You can drop some milk from the bottle on the back of your hand to check the temperature, and if it's slightly warmer than lukewarm then that should be a good temperature! Good luck!

Not true~ It does hurt! When you first have a baby the milk doesn't come in instantly it takes a day or so and then you get engorged which is where your breasts get so full and swollen with milk that they hurt so much you can't touch them, then when you start to breast feed your nipples can get sore and chapped, not only using a breast pump hurts too. Sooo it's not all easy, but at that point you don't care because it's all for your child. You'll understand when you have a child.
