this is cute and insightful. Our main character realizes he is in love and has been for a long time. But he fears the affects. He saw how his affection narrowed his field of vision and doesn't want to narrow his vision again. He never mentions the fact that it's strange for two guys to get together. Instead he keeps on about how he isolated himself and took solace in only one person. In other words he is afraid of love because of how it affects him (a level of philophobia, fear of love.) And he pushes the one he loves away despite the fact it hurts so he will not end up in a way he doesn't find fitting. So yeah his love is the personification of his love. but he needs not fret, with some guideance and help this level of philophobia is able to be overcome.

lol that was funny. I swear his boss and now lover doubles as a ninja. he pulls on clothes and comes up with a distraction so fast. he also fakes drunkness.

cute and a little sad start. Very relateable. I know a few people who confused friends for dating. Hell i can't tell you the number of times I was dumped by people who think we are dating. ahaha. Because it wasn't said straight out there was confusion. he doesn't seem upset just confused. So our main can have hope.

awe, he stopped him. Yes I know there is a cliche of not being able to stop someone from running away, but I don't mind it since it happens in real life too. This is a nice twist, though I thought for sure something more dangerous was going to happen on the stairs. I like how the one guy figured out that he is liked and pretty much said "well, i want to try, so let me." after all things can develop from something so lighthearted.

hahaha, and that wraps them all up into a nice trio of stories. We got to see how the siblings play off each other and we got more awkward phrases. And akane learned that aki takes after his father so much that he is either going to burn out or end up becoming able to do sex for as long as his lover.

I was surprised when we got two one shots. after our shinigami story. Now the first one shot felt weird. The one character looked similar to one of our mains from the shinigami but wasn't. And the two lovers lacked real chemistry in my opinion. It wasn't until the last page of that chapter did I notice any real affection. The second one shot was kinda cute and a bit sad. I am glad it ended happily. But our detective fooled no one.

chapter 1 current. chapter 2 how they met. what is chapter 3???

okay, it was going well, but then rushed to them getting together. I thought "maybe they will explore the idea of loving someone so much they remove their feelings of romance just to be with that person."

I also kinda want to know what is with this weird trope where the one pursuing the other character says that the other character is cruel for not returning the affections and then do something dramatic like run away or push them down or even blame them for assaulting them. That is one trope I really don't like.
