A bit of both :( it’s kind of an open ending for kirino because we don’t see much of how he lived his life other than a small scene with his daughter but its sad because he chose to not be his true self for the sake of being normal
Bittersweet ending i could say, bitter for Kirino and sweet for mishima.
This really deserves 5 stars and it’s so underrated!
