Literally for all he knows she’s the one bullying other people especially since there’s two people who said that. And..obviously he has trauma after seeing his sis being bullied.Hes still giving her a chance like damn I wouldn’t even associate with a former bully unless they truly proved they changed.

Is this manga worth reading? The summary doesn’t imply there’s any plot just her going to the capitol and living life. Is there any conflict that has to be resolved or idk something dark?

Honestly if you just want to spend your free time this is a good option, just a typical plot,i didnt practically enjoyed it nor despise it,"Boring" is the best option to portrait it but i dont rlly want to use that,i kept reading it to spend my free time thats all.
In short term "read it or not it doesnt really make whatsonot"

Dropping this. The female is so naive and entitled, holy shit. And the male lead literally isn’t wrong? If this way another manga yall would be praising the male lead for standing up for the lower class because this is a prime example of how the rich shit on others. Does she ever outgrow her dense personality? Yea yea she grew up this way..does not make her actions acceptable nor does it excuse the fact that she obviously covered for the maids crime after it’s revealed her maid is really a thief. She’s not kind hearted Lmaoo she s just dense.

Ik we are seeing a little but does she ever grow stronger? It’s a constant pity party on her end, but yet she doesn’t try to change herself. I’m willing to wait it out since I like the plot and all but she rlly annoys me.

I mean I don’t think she knows what to do in order to change. Realistically speaking she’s just a naive young girl that’s been locked up her whole life with no knowledge of the outside world. She’s doing what she can with what she’s got, can’t expect her to all the sudden have all the answers and be super badass and smart. That takes experience and knowledge she simply doesn’t have. And she’s starting to recognize her faults and learn from them! Character development takes time lol.

Which is what I’ve been waiting for but it’s been a lot of chapters and this isn’t the first time she’s had a “moment of realization” and yet she still stays the same. I don’t expect her to learn to weird the sword and defeat everyone and become a prodigy, but at the very least stop pitying yourself so much. I’d rather she does something with her grief instead of constantly breaking down and being faced with other issues.

I find it very realistic how she’s portrayed. Again, she hasn’t had an education, she’s been manipulated, belittled, and locked up her whole life. The only thing she tried to do herself (saving miru) ended badly and caused negative affects on him in the long run (abuse). She’s a powerless uneducated woman pretty much all alone in a foreign land hiding from very powerful people who want her dead. She has been kept ignorant (only valued for her beauty) and it’s gonna take time before she gains “independence” or gains complex problem solving skills lol. She’s got it rough.

That may be so but despite her coming to conclusions about how powerless she is, she continues so be so. Just like in the village, it’s a chance for her to open up and change and yet all she consistently does is blame herself. She’s constantly blaming herself and feeling upset, and a good chunk of the manga has gone though. She’s a former princess who rather than growing from her experiences and trauma, has been stuck in a time loop consistently. And she herself realizes it but refuses to change. I’m waiting for that change or determination and yet any chance she enlightens herself, she conveniently ignores it in favour of weeping or whatever. You’d think that she’d learn to be less naive BECAUSE of her trauma.

One does not always learn from trauma. As mentioned by Jenn, I think she doesn't fully realize what needs to be done. Living on your own is scary, esp. when you've never learnt the concept of being independent ever, nor how to survive without being subservient to a group. Again, I also find her portrayal very realistic.

True as that may be, her lack of character growth as I’ve said time and time again annoys me and I do not feel the need to defend that fact. As I’ve stated numerous times before, her lack of character development is detrimental to the plot and each chapter is constantly a pity party on her end or her making decisions to relate back to blaming her. I do not find her portrayal realistic, I see it as a method of caving to the damsel in distress plot. She has not grown if this many chapters in, she is still the same weak willed individual, which is why I asked in my topic does she ever change.
This isn’t your typical lighthearted romance. This story captures the realities of the dark side of the world, so the ppl here rlly expecting the male lead to be some saint is unrealistic. He’s literally a killer from the corrupt side..guess what? That shit exists. The world isn’t flowers and lillies, so why are y’all surprised when the male lead who grew up in such a dark environment is toxic? This story talks abt ptsd, war, and so many mature topics but yall criticizing the male lead for not being some romance fanatic. Whatever socialist rock you live under, give me an invite
