Idk if my brain has conformed to the cliches, but this is actually refreshing. The mom possibly being a key in the mystery and stuff, i love it. Only thing i didn't enjoy was that every mystery was revealed one after the other, that means the story will probably tie everything together and end quickly.
I'm not sure if we're going to actually get a bloody confrontation, but I'm really hoping that they don't take the moral high road. They should actually beat this guy half to death like he deserves
