if you ignore the characters and storyline and just think of it as porn, it’s pretty good (those sex scenes do be pretty hot). however i still hate it.
i really liked both the mls, but hyunwoo really had my heart from the beginning and i knew i was gonna be sad going into this bc i knew he was only the second ml but damn he got done real dirty in this (the bitch fl literally said all he was was a “pretty trashcan” to her when she knew he loved her ).
but my biggest issue is the female lead. she was sooo unlikeable for me, i couldn’t sympathize with her at all and i saw absolutely no redeeming qualities about her. she toys with her partners emotionally (and not as a part of “play”), rapes them, doesn’t respond to their feelings or respect their boundaries/limits, and is all around a garbage human being. the bdsm relationship portrayal is also shit, as there’s no trust or respect shown in her relationships. i absolutely hate the fact that they all fall in love with her when she’s such a shit person. and the “happy ending” that the two main characters got was also shitty- he still loves her but isn’t going to be anxious or jealous anymore bc he knows he’s her favorite toy?? i mean, really??? she doesn’t deserve happiness with him, and even after everything she STILL doesn’t respect him and his limits wtf
ughhh the story could’ve been the exact same if the teacher had just been the class rep or something instead of having the icky age gap and problematic student x teacher component :/

ngl the original novel is so inconsequential that the straightwashing doesn’t get in the way of the story, but also what was the point of the og novel being bl it would’ve been the same if it was a younger sister instead of a younger brother
i hate it when i love the main couple but i also love the side characters/sub mls
yet another series in which the problematic relationships lends nothing to the plot if it were an upperclassman/older brother (non biological) character instead of blood-related uncle it could’ve been the exact same story without the icky feeling :/
