i will translate the part where they talk on the phone, and then meet up in the rain.

context: shizuma just got out of the vet, he is trying to call minato. he was worried but minato finally picked up the call. it is currently raining.


shizima: hello? minato!?

minato: what?

shizuma, thought: fuck...that’s his grouchy voice (i don’t know how to properly word this, but he basically means that’s the voice minato uses when he’s angry/mad/annoyed).

shizuma, thought: but i’m glad you picked up...!! (the phone)

shizuma: i’m sorry i didn’t contact you, where are you right now!?

shizuma: i just left the hospital. i’m going to the parking lot. right over there... (he bumps into someone)

shizuma: oh... i’m sorry. wait a minute...please be careful

minato: .......

minato: (sigh) hey...that’s enough.

minato: it doesn’t matter how fast you go, nothing will change, right?

shizuma: minato...

minato: the real estate is already closed for today. it’s too late.

shizuma: i know...but i want to see you as soon as possible

shizuma: are you home yet? i’ll hurry up and come to you anyway...

minato: that’s why i said it’s alright...don’t hurry

minato: i’m already here

(minato’s sitting on his or shizuma’s car idrk, it’s been raining and shizuma looks shocked to see him wait that long in the rain)

minato: you’re late!

shizuma: why...i was wondering if you were home...

minato: if i don’t hit you today, i’m not sure if i can sleep tonight. hey... (he sneezes)

shizuma starts to caress minato’s face

shizuma: you’re cold (his face is, not his personality)

shizuma: hey...how long have you been out here? you could have went to a convenience store or something...even the hospital. why are you (waiting) out here?

minato: ...shut up. you’re already in the wrong for breaking our promise.

shizuma drops his umbrella and brings minato in for a hug. minato was a bit shocked but after hearing shizuma, he returns the hug.

shizuma: you’re right. i’m sorry... i couldn’t keep my promise. it was cold (sitting out here), wasn’t it?

minato: (sigh) it’s warm... (he means in shizuma’s embrace).

minato: i’m glad...you’re alive

shizuma couldn’t hear because it was raining

shizuma: huh? i’m sorry, it was raining, what did you say just now?

minato’s smiling right now

minato: i didn’t say anything important, alright?

and that’s a wrap. next scene is the bathhouse scene which i don’t think i will translate, but they talk things out and shizuma tells minato that he’s the happiest when minato tells him he does his best.

lol i bought the raws and shizuma doesn’t cheat or anything you guys are overreacting. it’s not everyday we come across a couple that can work things out fine, the translations here are a bit lacking but the problem with onodera is that they have problems communicating, which is why they can’t even communicate with their co workers. shizuma tries to help them work around it, especially when these two people came in with their pet and refused to have onodera exam them because they’re (onodera) is too rude and rough.

shizuma did stay behind to help onodera with that examination, but at the cost of not showing up to their house touring date. minato wasn’t mad at him, he was more worried and anxious if shizuma got into an accident (he even searched up “recent car accidents” (︶︿︶) )

they talked it out after shizuma was done with his examination (almost hours later, minato was still waiting at their meeting spot). they hugged and went to the bathhouse later, man they even tried to fuck in there but some old dude came out (they thought everyone left already).

what i’m trying to say is, their relationship is fine, shizuma doesn’t like onodera like that, he acknowledged how she has a hard time talking to others and just wants to help her. why would shizuma cheat on minato, he’s been cheated on by ruka, he knows what that feeling’s like. especially when minato is so insecure and had a hard time trusting shizuma because he was scared minato would leave him. shizuma would never put minato through any of that, if there’s a misunderstanding, they’ll clear it up. that’s how their relationship has always been.

though if you guys do want something to cry about volume 2 was left with a cliffhanger of minato’s face because shizuma drove them back to the vet and he got to see onodera’s face
