
The King of Bikpa was taking money from the citizens and all that low down and dirty stuff, but why didn't he use some of that money to fix his teeth? I mean, even though the story takes place in a sort of medieval era, wouldn't they still have a way to make them look better? Ah, but maybe not, who knows? ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Apparently, long time ago, having bad teeth means you are super rich/noble/powerful.
Because only rich people can afford things which was expensive at that time like sugar and stuff which caused teeth yellow & broken etc.
And because this guy like to show off, the bad teeth is something he is proud of.
Thinking back, in the chapter before this one, Prince Rael said "This is the punishment I bestow upon you." But isn't it weird that he used the word "bestow" when giving her her "punishment?" I mean, when people say bestow, you usually think it's a gift or something nice, but to "bestow" a punishment is...well, you don't "bestow" punishments but dish 'em out ( ̄へ ̄)
