That can be a huge trauma for some people, a lot of people who I’m close to would judge me slightly because. I like yaoi or reading manga but it’s nothing to serious to make me feel ashamed to tell others, but for some it can feel like a challenge after being dissed by someone you trust because of something your passionate about, everyone is different and you can’t compare others experiences because they can all equally hurt the same
