like why is the author tryna convince us that it’s ok for the top to be SAed bc the bottom is too? ‘he can’t do harm bc he’s weak and cutesy!’ like tf?? it’s not just even that there’s SA, it’s that they just keep fuckinf justifying it and making it seem like it’s not a problem. dropped it bc there’s no redemption for ts.

It’s clear Rou didn’t even realize it would cause misunderstanding or jealousy BECAUSE HE WASN’T THINKING ABOUT CHEATING. AT ALL. God forbid someone be kind?? And besides, when realized how it hurt yoshino he genuinely apologized and said he wouldn’t do it again. That’s healthiest and most green flag thing he could do. This whole “don’t settle” mentality and categorizing people in black and white is so fucking shallow and idiotic cuz y’all are incapable of applying a single ounce of critical thinking and would rather push your own narrative onto others rather than trying to understand them.
Exactly! He even communicated to his partner what he was doing and where he would be… his partner got jealous (which is totally ok.. I mean who wouldn’t be??) but then Rou also reassured that there were no feelings between them—it was all strictly friendly. ALSO! Not every gay guy dates other gay guys
Exactly, like both of their feelings are valid!! Even if the jealousy was irrational in some sense, a little jealousy is perfectly normal in any relationship, and the fact that Rou affirmed Yoshino’s feelings anyways made me so happy that he was putting the effort to change despite his previous nature where he clearly cared about himself more than his partner.
I like the art but the top is just drawn so wack most of the time idk…
I love the story and characters but if we had gotten a few chapters of backstory leading up to the betrayal I would’ve eaten that shit uppppp!! Love me some yellow flag characters though <3
I feel like they’re pretty realistic characters. Sure, they’re both a little superficial but tbh most people are, and that’s fine. I really like this story as a change of pace from stories where the characters are only ever perfect human beings, but I do hope both characters change for the better and actually fall in love.
I’m a little confused why all the topics are people saying they were underwhelmed by it, I personally felt like it was done really well in 5 chapters, short and sweet, lighthearted, with the perfect amount of comedy. Or maybe it’s just bc I’m a big fan of this specific character dynamic, they were so cute!!! I was a little scared it would get homophobic when the top found out the bottom wasn’t a girl but I’m glad it ended in the healthiest way possible.
